This temple is dedicated to Parad Shivling or mercury shivling or paradeshwar mahadev temple. Located on MK Gandhi Road, the Parad Shivling in Haridwar is unique for its Shivalinga. During Kumbh Mela the first pooja is made here only.
The temple is open for public from 7.00 a.m. to 7.00 pm including the holidays. No entry fees. Pets are not allowed.
How to Reach Parad Shivling in Haridwar
From the Haridwar Railway Junction, head towards Haridwar Main Road, go pass by the Sabharwal Railway tickets agency, at 160 m turn right at Hotel Orchid Inn. Pass by Hotel Ganga Azure on the left at 210m turn left at Shivmurti plaza toward mayapuri road at 10m take the first road on the Mayapuri road go one round, pass the veterinary hospital, then take the, at the roundabout, take the 2nd exit at the Swaminarayanan Mandir passby Sidhpeeth and pass by Siddhpeeth Rameshwar Mahadev Mandir on the right. Take the firth right and stay on daksha mandir road. You will find the Parad Shivlinga temple situated inside the Harihar Ashram on Kankhal.
